How clean do you get your black and grey tanks when you visit the dump station? That is what we thought as well until we started using a power flushing device to clean ours. When we did we found more... ...you know, nasty things. We found things in the black tank as well that we thought would have been flushed using the in-tank black tank flush feature. Nothing more needs to be said there on the black tank, you can use your imagination from there.
When you think of a tank, you might say "how could I not get it clean using my normal flushing procedure?". We thought the same thing but, the tanks are made of polyethylene which is a type of plastic used for holding many things like water, fuel, gasoline and so on. These poly tanks are not as rigid as metal but they are tapered on the bottom so waste flows toward the outlet. However, our waste tanks in our RV still tend to sag in the middle because there is nothing to support the center portion of the tanks. This sagging creates a puddle of nasty things that normal flushing of the tank won't get out.
PASSPORT Mobile RV Works can help with that. We offer a tank cleaning service to help rid your waste tanks of those nasty things that create odors as well as any of those pyramids you may have heard about. The pyramids are not only what you may think, but food in your galley tank can build up as well. Galley grey tanks don't have rinsing nozzles installed like some black tanks do.
NOTE: Full hook-ups are necessary for tank cleaning service.
